This project was launched in March 2010. If you book a coach for the day you can visit both the Lunt Roman Fort and Brandon Marsh. At the Lunt pupils will explore the site, including the gyrus or training ring, the wooden ramparts and hear about the lives of soldiers in the granary museum.
At Brandon Marsh pupils will learn about how the Celts lived in their natural surroundings, explore a reconstruction of a Celtic roundhouse and try their hand at drop spinning.
You can start your day at either site.
