Regular Opening Times:
The fort is closed during bank holidays and weekends. Please note the Fort is not open during February Half-Term.

10am – 3pm
Coaches
Coach parking is available on the Lunt site. Please advise your coach driver to approach the Lunt from the direction of Rowley Road (East of the Fort). If they approach from the other direction (from Mill Hill to the West) they will be unable to turn into the car park. Coaches must not be parked in the surrounding roads at any time.
By Car
Limited car parking is available at the Lunt.
By Bus
The best way to get to the Lunt by public transport is on the Number 25 bus from Pool Meadow Bus Station (which also visits the railway station).
The bus stops by the Old Mill pub; from there, it is around a 5 minute walk to the Fort.
