Led by the expert storytellers from Dark History UK, young explorers will take part in a series of fun, interactive activities inspired by life - and death - in Roman Britain. Meet the Friendly Ghost of the Granary, search for mysterious Roman spirits, uncover gruesome Roman facts, learn about bizarre ancient medicines and strange cures, and put your detective skills to the test by solving a mini Roman crime mystery.
Designed to spark imaginations through storytelling, exploration and hands-on participation, this 90-minute experience creates a delightfully spooky atmosphere without being frightening. It's the perfect way for families to discover local history together this Halloween season.
